First, I need to preface these.
This year I read Do Hard Things, which has challenged me more than any other book, except for the Bible. If you haven't read it yet, then put that on your resolution list - it would be a great way to start off 2009. Anyway, because of the book, I am writing my resolutions a new way. I will only be posting my rough outline now, and I may or may not blog the specific way I am going to accomplish each one.
I. Me
A. Spiritual
1. Pray more for others
2. Make specific times to get away and be alone with God
3. Seek a circle of godly counselors
B. Emotional
1. Spend more time with girlfriends
2. Take a vacation
3. Paint with mom
C. Mental
1. Read several works of classic literature (that I haven't previously read)
2. Get back into sign language
3. Write
D. Physical
1. Stick to a definite fitness plan
2. Cut way back on caffeine
3. Take better care of my hair, skin, and nails
II. Others
A. Family
1. Find ways to spend quality time with each of my siblings
2. Pray for them
3. Throw my parents a party for their 25th Anniversary
B. Friends
1. Mail stuff on time
2. Call people
3. Reach out to more people
C. School
1. Find that better balance of discipline, love, authority, encouragement, rules, nurturing, challenge, etc.
2. Finish our first year well, start our second year better
3. Aggressively promote
D. Youth Group
1. Start meeting with them at night
2. Finish their scrapbook
3. Get to know the boys better

like you said- definitely vague, but good! I like the outline format....so very organized, Ebby. :-)
I like it, too! I like how they are split up into the learning areas! Awesome! And I'm glad you've gotten over the vague-ness. :) Truce.
